Holiday Celebration & Winter Market

2 pm to 6 pm

Get ready to jingle bell rock around Main Street Square as we usher in the holiday season with the Holiday Celebration and Winter Market. The Holiday Celebration and Winter Market are free and open to all ages. 

Activities at the Square begin at 10 a.m., followed by open ice skating at 11 a.m. At 2 p.m., Santa will make his grand entrance, escorted by the Rapid City Fire Department. Children will have the opportunity to meet Santa, snap a photo or two with him, and tell him their wishes from 2 to 5 p.m. Parents are encouraged to bring their own cameras for the photo opportunity, as a professional photographer will not be provided.

Shop the Winter Market from 2 to 6 p.m., which hosts a collection of local vendors where you are sure to find that perfect gift. Browse booths showcasing handcrafted goods, such as knits, hats and mittens, jewelry, home décor, hand painted wooden signs, jams, jellies, and salsas, as well as festive holiday goodies from food vendors such as cider and pies.

Enjoy the sounds of the season at a holiday concert from 3 to 4:45 p.m
